Your committee is still deep in the planning stage for Bucconeer. Thereís still time left to influence our decisions. Mars
Starting in 1997, there is going to be a large
amount of
new information available about the planet Mars. What aspects
should be featured in our science program?
Tourism
Our second progress report, to be mailed out in
September,
will focus on tourism and will provide information on local attractions and
transportation. What information do you need to make you a
happy visitor to Baltimore?
Weapon Policy
Are boom boxes weapons? Can our committee
use
persons carrying questionable objects as test subjects in determining if that
object is actually a weapon? What kind of weapon policy should Bucconeer
enforce?
Worldcon Names
There are some fans out there who feel this
committee
has committed a fannish mortal sin by not using the name ConStellation Two for
this Worldcon (ConStellation was the name of the first Baltimore Worldcon in
1983). What are your feelings, do you care?
