Obituary for Sam Moskowitz

Sam Moskowitz   1920 – 1997

NEWARK, NEW JERSEY—Sam Moskowitz, chairman of the first World Science Fiction Convention in 1939, author of studies of the science fiction genre such as Explorers of the Infinite and Seekers of Tomorrow, anthologist, and one of fandom's first historians died on April 15, 1997. His death was caused by a heart attack suffered on April 13th.
