Bill Jensen, our Pre-Con Registration Manager, reports that we have 4,320 members, which breaks down to 3,585 attending, 554 supporting, 112 childrens, 7 infant, and 62 misc. memberships.
Shirley Avery and Martin Deutsch, our Keepers of the Treasure Trove, have received Art Show space reservations from 125 artists so far. There will be over 300 panels and at least 50 tables in Bucconeers Art Show.
Sally Kobee and Larry Smith, Managers of our Merchanters Luck, state that the Dealers Room is fulleven the extra space they shanghaied from Exhibitsand ask that people please stop sending any more requests for tables.
Bobby Gear, our Masquerade Director, has signed up 21 Masquerade participants. At-Con Masquerade Registration will open on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Pratt Street Lobby of the Convention Center.
We have sold 280 of the 500 Crab Feast tickets, so get your order in fast (an order form was included with Broadside Five). Ann Steele mentions that food will be served buffet-style up until 9:30 p.m.
Approximately 100 fans have indicated that theyre interested in attending an Orioles baseball game. Judy Kindell will be ordering tickets this week.
Adrienne Foster, our Writers Workshop Coordinator, has received over 50 manuscript submissions. Mary Bentley, Student SF Contest Committee Chair, reports that 37 semifinalists have been selected from the original 106 entries.
