Baltimore-Washington International Airport

Central Light Rail Line trains run at 34 minute intervals from BWI. Fares are $1.35 one way. The service operates Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets must be purchased from vending machines or station agents before boarding.

The SuperShuttle van service offers scheduled service from BWI to downtown Baltimore hotels from 5:45 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. at one-half hour intervals. Fares are $11 one way and $18 round trip. Reservations may be made by calling +1-800-BLUE-VAN or +1-410-761-1689.

MARC (Penn Line) and Amtrak trains go to Union Station in Washington, D.C. or Penn Station in Baltimore. (MARC trains also stop at Camden Station, across from the Convention Center.) For MARC schedules and fares, call +1-800-325-RAIL. For Amtrak schedules and fares, call +1-800-USA-RAIL.

The estimated taxi fare from BWI to downtown Baltimore is $20. Call Airport Taxi Management at +1-410-859-1100 for information.

The flat rate per car for up to four people for the BWI Limousine Service to Baltimore is $25. To guarantee service, call for reservations at +1-410-519-0000.

Baltimore Mass Transportation Administration

Call +1-888-218-2267 or +1-410-539-5000 or check www.mtatransit.com for MTA Bus, Metro subway, and Central Light Rail information. All fares are $1.35 one way. A $3 Day Pass, good for one day of unlimited travel, is available.

Central Light Rail Line trains operate at 17 minute intervals. Tickets must be purchased from vending machines or ticket agents before boarding trains.

Twenty-two bus routes serve the area near the Convention Center. Fares are paid as you board the bus. Exact fare is required. Some routes run 24 hours.

The Baltimore Metro subway runs every ten minutes during weekdays and from 15 to 20 minutes on evenings and weekends. Hours of operation are 5 a.m. to midnight on Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, closed on Sunday. Ticket vending machines are located in each station.

Taxi rates are $1.40 for the first 1/10th mile, $0.10 for each additional 1/10th mile. Additional charges that will not appear on the meter include: $1 for dispatch calls before 9 p.m.; $1.50 for dispatch calls after 9 p.m.; and $0.50 for any taxi service after 9 p.m. Fare sharing is not allowed for passengers going to different locations. Parking in Downtown Baltimore

Parking is available at most of the downtown hotels. There are over 100 downtown public parking lots and garages within a mile of the Baltimore Convention Center. The average daily rate ranges from $4 to $15. Street parking downtown is difficult. Metered spots can become no-parking zones during rush hours. Parking restrictions are aggressively enforced. Travelers Alert

There will be traffic and parking difficulties on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 4th and 5th, due to Orioles baseball games at Camden Yards. The games start at 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday and 3:05 p.m. on Wednesday. There will be a pre-season football game in the new Ravens Stadium on Saturday, August 8th.
