Membership Guidelines

1998 Worldcon Site Selection Voters are automatically supporting members. Voters may convert their supporting memberships to attending for $68 (£49) until September 30, 1996 or $80 (£58) from October 1, 1996 until September 30, 1997. Baltimore in 1998 Pre-Supporters may deduct $5 (£4) from these rates until December 31, 1996.

Please include your address, telephone number, and e-mail address when applying for memberships.

When purchasing supporting or attending memberships for other members of your household, please indicate whether they should also receive copies of our publications.

Please make all checks or money orders payable to Bucconeer. All memberships are non-refundable but may be transferred. All rates are in U.S. dollars and British pounds sterling. Applications for membership should be sent in U.S. dollars or British pounds sterling as a credit or debit card charge (MasterCard, Access, Visa, or American Express), bank draft, money order, or traveler's check. Please do not send cash.

Supporting members receive all available publications, may nominate and vote for the 1998 Hugo Awards, and may vote for the site of the 2001 Worldcon (after paying the voting fee). Attending members have the additional right to attend Bucconeer and the 1998 World Science Fiction Society Business Meeting.

Children's Memberships

Responses to the questionnaire in this Progress Report will influence our planning for families at Bucconeer. Please complete and return the questionnaire by December 31, 1996.

Children who will be less than four years old on August 5, 1998 will be given free admission.

Memberships for children who will be four to twelve years old on August 5, 1998 are currently $50 (£36). Children do not receive publications or voting privileges.

All children must be in child care, children's programming (ages four and above), or be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult at all times while attending Bucconeer.
